Los alumnos Ignacio Arias de 4º ESO y Jana Fauquié, Alberto Jarauta, Juan Rodrigo, Ricardo Serrano y Marta Bielsa de 1º de Bachillerato, participaron en la Sesión Regional del European Youth Parliament, programa realizado íntegramente en inglés que tiene como objetivo promover una conciencia ciudadana europea y democrática. Consta de tres fases, la sesión regional, la nacional y los diálogos internacionales, en las que los jóvenes se reúnen para debatir sobre el presente y el futuro de Europa.
En esta primera fase se reunieron con alumnos de los colegios Juan de Lanuza, Colegio Inglés, Sansueña, Montearagón, Liceo Europa, Cristo Rey Escolapios, Condes de Aragón y Liceo Francés durante un fin de semana para debatir sobre temas de actualidad relacionados con la cultura, economía, medioambiente o igualdad, mostrando habilidades sociales y políticas que serán cruciales para su futuro. Nuestros alumnos han demostrado su alto nivel de inglés así como su brillante capacidad de pensamiento crítico e independiente. Todos ellos estuvieron acompañados por el alumno de 2º de Bachillerato, Jaime García-Álvarez Palá, que logró el pase a la Sesión Nacional al ser nombrado por el jurado wild card en la Sesión Regional el curso pasado.
Esta semana hemos conocido que Sansueña, Liceo Europa y nuestro Colegio son los elegidos para participar en la Sesión Nacional, que se celebrará el próximo mes de julio y en la que durante cinco días delegados de toda España se reunirán para seguir creciendo y aprendiendo juntos. Nuestros alumnos Juan Rodrigo, Alberto Jarauta y Ricardo Serrano han sido los seleccionados por el jurado.

THE SCHOOL REACHES THE NATIONAL STAGE OF THE EUROPEAN YOUTH PARLIAMENT
Students Ignacio Arias from 4º ESO and Jana Fauquié, Alberto Jarauta, Juan Rodrigo, Ricardo Serrano and Marta Bielsa from 1º de Bachillerato took part in the Regional Stage of The European Youth Parliament, a programme which is conducted entirely in English and which aims to promote European public and democratic awareness. The programme consists of three phases – the Regional Stage, the National Stage and the International Stage and in the programme young people meet to debate the present and future of Europe.
In this first stage of the programme they met one weekend with other students from the schools Juan de Lanuza, Colegio Inglés, Sansueña, Montearagón, Liceo Europa, Cristo Rey Escolapios, Condes de Aragón and Liceo Francés to debate contemporary issues related to culture, the economy, the environment and equality, demonstrating social and political skills which will be vital for them in the future. Our students demonstrated their high level of English as well as their outstanding ability to think critically and independently. All of the students were accompanied by Jaime García-Alvarez Palá, a student from 2º Bachillerato who reached the National Stage after being named wild card in the regional session of the programme last year
This week we have learned that Sansueña, Liceo Europa and Colegio Alemán have been selected to participate in the National Stage, which will take place this July over five days and during which delegates from the whole of Spain will meet to continue developing and learning together. Our students Juan Rodrigo, Alberto Jarauta and Ricardo Serrano have been selected by the judges.
